Application Requirements

  • All non-listed enterprises registered in Hong Kong under the Business Registration Ordinance (Chapter 310) with substantial business operations in Hong Kong are eligible to apply for funding, regardless of whether they operate in manufacturing or service industries or have existing operations in Mainland China.

     

    Enterprises primarily operating outside Hong Kong or shell companies will not be considered as having substantial business operations in Hong Kong.

    1. Application Documents

    • One original application form (MS Word format, in Chinese or English), signed by an authorized representative of the applying enterprise and stamped with the company seal.

    Supporting documents:

    • A copy of the applying enterprise’s Business Registration Certificate.

    • Copies of documents verifying the details of the applying enterprise’s major shareholders (e.g., Form NAR1 issued by the Companies Registry).

    • Copies of documents proving the applying enterprise’s substantial business operations in Hong Kong.

    • Copies of documents proving a direct investment relationship between the applying enterprise and its Mainland China business unit.

  • Funding Limits Each enterprise can receive funding for up to 70 approved projects (including both the "Mainland Programme" and the "Free Trade Agreement and Investment Agreement Programme"). The maximum cumulative funding limit per enterprise (including audit fees) across the "Mainland Programme" and "Free Trade Agreement and Investment Agreement Programme" is HKD 7 million, with a funding cap of HKD 800,000 per project (including audit fees).
